Lucid dreaming doesn’t happen frequently. Lucid dreaming occurs to us during our altered state of consciousness when you actually realize you are dreaming. During this phase your brain switches in to a waking mode when you are in your dream. You become self aware during your dream. It really is a surreal experience.
The best sleeping position for you is a position that helps maintain the curve in your lower back we will find you a position that works for you because let’s face it sleep is very important and if you read my post on how much sleep do you really need I go in to detail of how important it is. How long should a nap be is something I really wanted to find out. There are days when I work from home and writing all day can be very tiring. Especially when after a weekend I have been able to lie in. There are times when no amount of coffee is going to keep me awake. I could put my head down on the desk and be ready to doze off. However I just couldn’t decide if it would make it feel better or worse! So I set myself a challenge of finding out how long should a nap be?
Sleeping without a pillow are there any benefits? I have to say that I couldn’t do without my pillow but that’s because I snore and raising myself up on a pillow allows my suffering husband some peace and quiet while the position stops me snoring!
The thought of sleeping in the great outdoors comes with it the wonderful fresh air, a place where you can lie and look up at the stars and sit round a camp fire, spend time with your family and maybe heat marshmallows!
The past few weeks my sleep hasn’t been the best quality. I go through stages like this and I put it down to stress. It’s why I love to walk and started a site called Walking Body & Mind to share my walking journey.
When my first son was born the longest he sleep was for two hours at a time, feeding him also took an hour. That meant we were very tired parents. My son was premature so he really needed to be fed when he needed to be fed. To this day I still have the little records I kept of the times he was fed. My husband and I wanted to keep a record because as they grow you often forget about many things and we wanted to document those early days, weeks and months.
